I'm so happy to have my own record player! You don't know how much I waited to get it... To celebrate, I'm going to have a party with my best buddy Anna. We'll rock all night!
...and my new LPs...
- Jethro Tull - Aqualung
- Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
- Patti Smith - Banga
- The Velvet Underground & Nico
- Nirvana - Nevermind
- Roger Daltrey - Daltrey
- Roger Daltrey - Ride a Rock Horse
- The Who - Tommy
- The Who - Who's Next
- Iggy Pop - Lust for Life (bought when I went to Florence to see Iggy & the Stooges)
And these are my parents' records (just to let you know that I won't get bored with all those LPs)...
Oh my God, Velvet Underground, Wish You Were Here and Nevermind are albums I really want to buy! Such great albums. Nice looking player, by the way. Is it a newer or an older model?
ReplyDeleteit was bought in the 80s and I inherited it from my great uncle. he really loved music, so the record player is a good model
DeleteNice!
DeleteThe Velvet Underground!! Is it a reprint or an original? <3
ReplyDeleteit's a reprint!
DeleteGreat records and wonderful record player! We prefer playing records over cd's anytime, it just sounds so much better. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteyou're so right! thanks for following!
DeleteWow great set up. I know that's a vintage Pioneer deck. But what model Pioneer is it? And what model amplifier do you have there? Does it all work properly? Really killer set up. Now, all you need is some vintage huge Stanton Dynaphase Sixty headphones and then you will be ready to jam.
ReplyDeleteHere are the models...
DeleteAmplifier: SA 9500
Turntable: PL 520
Actually I had to repair it, but now it works very, very well!
